スペイン系フィリピン人の父親と、日本人の母親をもつde Torres一家の3兄弟、Nico、Kai、Kioが2020年に結成したロックバンドGliiico。彼らはカナダのバンクーバー出身で現在は東京を拠点に活動しています。同年3月にデビューシングル『Around』をリリース。2021年3月には2ndシングル『Nonchalant』をリリース。その後東京のクラブシーンとも関係性を深め、LootaとGliicoだけの共作でのコラボレーションアルバム「Ephemeral」やtokyovitaminのコンピレーションアルバムでの楽曲「LOVE DON’T LOVE – Loota, Young Coco & Gliiico」などに参加しました。
2022年第一弾は待望のオリジナルニューシングル「Dealer ft. Grace Aimi」をMVと共にプロジェクトとして発表。引き続き本年発表予定のEPがシーンより期待されています。
SAIKONEONではメンバー達の9月の滞在制作から始まり、MVの撮影まで全面協力いたしました。バンクーバーの郊外で育った3人は大自然と小さな町が点在する、西湖周辺を故郷のように懐かしみ、焚火や湖でのスイミング、楽曲制作と存分に滞在をエンジョイし、SAIKONEONはスペシャルプレイスだと称賛してくれました！
MV監督には、あいみょん、Balming Tigerなども手掛けるPennackyが参画し同曲のMUSIC VIDEOを手掛けていただきました。

Gliiico is a rock band formed in 2020 by three brothers of the de Torres family, Nico, Kai and Kio, who have a Spanish Filipino father and a Japanese mother. They are from Vancouver, Canada and are currently based in Tokyo.Released the debut single “Around” in March 2020. In March 2021, the 2nd single “Nonchalant” was released.After that, he deepened his relationship with the club scene in Tokyo and participated in the collaboration album “Ephemeral” co-written by Loota and Gliiico and the song “LOVE DON’T LOVE – Loota, Young Coco & Gliiico” on the compilation album of tokyovitamin.In 2022, the long-awaited original new single “Dealer ft. Grace Aimi” was announced as a project together with the music video. The EP scheduled to be announced this year will continue to be expected from the music scene.
At SAIKONEON, we cooperated fully from the members’ stay production in September to the shooting of the MV. Growing up in the suburbs of Vancouver, the brothers nostalgic for the area around Saiko, which is dotted with nature and small towns, and enjoyed bonfires, swimming in the lake, music production and staying to the fullest, and They praised SAIKONEON as a truly special place!
Pennacky, who also works on “Aimyon” and “Balming Tiger”, participated in the MV director and worked on the MUSIC VIDEO of the same song.
