Patrick Gabler is from Hamburg, Germany. As an artist, he engages with many different mediums, including printmaking using matrices of various materials, charcoal, and more.

During his stay with SAIKONEON, he passionately engaged in the study and creation of familiar Japanese media and ink paintings. In addition to studio work, he continued his creative endeavors outdoors through drawing and also in the setting of a forest. Currently, he is in the process of editing a collection of works produced and documented during his stay, with the intention of publishing it.
